Location

Address for Satnav: Flaujagues, 33890 France.

How to get there
By air
Flaujagues is well served by two international airports, Bordeaux and Bergerac and is situated halfway between the two slightly nearer to Bergerac. Heading through the city to Bordeaux airport takes about an hour by car and the more rural route to Bergerac is a 45 minute journey. Cars can be hired easily from either airport and budget airlines Ryanair & Flybe (Bergerac) and Easyjet & BA (Bordeaux) dominate the flights.
By road
For those who prefer to drive, Flaujagues is a relatively simple journey from Calais, of approximately nine hours driving time, which obviously can be pleasantly split up by stopping at any of the beautiful French cities and regions en route. We always choose to drive straight through with our two children and have done so since they were babies. Alternatively, a ferry into St Malo brings you nearer to your destination to the extent that the onward journey can be completed in six hours. Route by Rouen not Paris unless you’re stopping overnight in Paris despite what your SatNav might say, as this can add several hours to your journey.
By rail
Mainline train travel can bring you as close as Libourne, 20 minutes from the house and Eurostar connections are best made at Lille, where the two trains arrive and depart from the same station.
Arriving at Tunibloy
Drive to the village of Flaujagues, Gironde. Once in Flajagues take rural road D130 through the vineyards towards Pessac, 1km from centre of Flajagues on left is Tunibloy.
